Introducing . . .

Lincoln James Bergeson
8lbs. 4oz.
21 inch.

After a long 9mos. we've finally become a family of four. We were finding it hard to imagine how we could possibly love another child as much as Parker. We didn't have to share the love we have for Park with Linc, we just grew bigger hearts!

It's amazing to see how different & alike they both look. They are both so beautiful, how could we have gotten so lucky!

We had tried our best to prepare Parker for his new little brother & it appears as though he really understood what we were telling him. He was so good with the baby & still is. He wants to hold him & give him kisses & every time he cries he becomes very concerned about what might be causing him to be upset. He's even gotten upset with me for changing his diaper. That's not to say that he hasn't had his share of moments of jealousy (trying to get anyones attention that has come to see the baby) but for the most part he has been a good little helper & the best big brother. Getting a nice big Mr. Potato head as a gift from the baby may have helped a little bit too!

We have such wonderful family & friends! I'm so glad my Mom & Dad were able to make it up to the hospital as well. Thanks to all of you who have been there for us! We are so blessed!

This post has been so belated because our lives have been so hectic since coming home from the hospital. We took Parker in for his 3yr. old well checkup & the Dr. found a heart murmur. He assured us that it was very common & he would grow out of it by 10yrs. old but we needed to get an x-ray & an EKG just to be safe. Well the EKG showed a possibility of a heart condition & the x-ray showed a possibility of scoliosis. A quick checkup with the Dr. assured us that if there were any scoliosis it was very minimal & not to worry but we would need an echocardiogram to see what was going on with Parker's heart.

In the midst of all this Lincoln caught a cough from Parker which turned into RSV which turned into several trips to the Dr. & hospital as well as several sleepless nights for Jas & I. It also put a damper on an all expense paid trip we won thru Jason's work to San Diego this weekend but that was the least of our worries.

We recently found out though that the echocardiogram came up with no signs of a heart problem other than the murmur so an EKG every year or so will be all we need to do (YAY!) Then we finally got some relief that Lincoln's RSV was improving quite a bit as well. What a relief!

I guess when it rains, it pours but all in all we have two healthy boys & that's all that matters! We also have found that thru all of this we really have the best family, friends, & ward members. We haven't had to worry about meals or babysitters or anything else. Thank you to all of you for your support, prayers, & love!

Katie, look at all that dark hair! He is precious. I am so sorry for the craziness. I know it must be hard. Isn't family, friends, & neighbors wonderful? They all help so much. I still need to come & visit or have a girls night out. I will be in need of one soon! Hang in there & if there is anything I can do, please let me know.

Holy Cow... you made me cry. Seeing Parker with Lincoln really hit my heart at how Jaimen is going to love his baby sister.

Lincoln is so handsome! I cannot believe that hair, its priceless.

And you BTW look beautiful!!
Glad that the kids are feeling better, that would be scary to have RSV and a possible heart condition all at once with both kids.

Oh and don't worry about this being such a late post, mine will probably be just as long away.

Congratulations, sorry for the letter.
