A LeSs tHaN hApPy RePoRt!

So as I mentioned in my last post Parker & I were deathly ill for about a week & still kind of getting over the cough that came with it. Then just as I was starting to feel a little better I fell flat on my stomach. Yes, 9mos pregnant & flat on my stomach. I was taking some bags in from the garage & tripped on a box. With both of my hands full I couldn't brace myself & fell flat forward. My knee caught the brunt of the fall & was black & blue for a few days but I felt my stomach totally hit the cement. I sat down on the ground & immediately started crying, thinking that I was going to have a baby that night & didn't have anything ready. I hadn't finished his room, gotten any clothes out of storage, & who knew where the car seat even was. All the while Parker had been in the car & saw the whole thing go down, so he was in the car crying, "mommy, mommy, u ok?" It turned out to be ok, I felt the baby move later that night & didn't notice any problems but then a few days later I started noticing that my ribs were hurting & I could barely breath. Yah, so I have a few bruised ribs, not sure if it was caused by being sick & coughing so much or falling, probably both. Then on top of all of that, I get a phone call from Jason while I'm at work saying that our basement playroom is flooded. Yes, the only room with brand new carpet in it, of course! So we went thru a big rigamaroo trying to figure out where the water was coming from & how to fix it, which we did & it was easy to fix. But after the last two weeks I have to say I am more than ready to be done being pregnant & knock on wood that nothing else goes wrong, I think we've had our share for a while!!! Is anyone else's life this crazy, or just me???
