So this post is a long time overdue but we've been super busy lately with the New Year and preparing for our little Lincoln to come. . . Anyhoo, December was a fun month, I decided that since I would be big & prego that I would get everything done early so we could enjoy it.
This first pic is of us at Discovery Gateway making gingerbread houses with my sister & her cutie pie Rylee. They had so much fun, mostly eating the NASTY frosting & treats.
I love Discovery Gateway, they have so much to keep their little minds busy & then fun little activities like the gingerbread houses on top of that. A couple of weeks before this pic we went down & made snowmen out of marshmallows, but I forgot my camera so no pic :( But Parker had a blast & it was a nice break from the holiday hustle!
Thank you Meag for always inviting us to go with you on your pass, we couldn't afford it otherwise!
It was a really fun season this year, Parker really got into Christmas. He knew all
about Santa and his elves, the whole deal! We went to see lights at Christmas Village in Ogden and snuggled up by the fire watching just about every Christmas movie out there, even the old ones & their remakes! His fav's were The Santa Clause, The Grinch, and Frosty the Snowman. I'm almost glad it's over, I'm not sure how much more I could handle Tim Allen as Santa!!!

Christmas Day was hectic but fun. We had to wake up early to get to all of our destinations but we were able to open a few gifts & stockings at home first. It was so exciting. We woke Parker up & told him Santa had come & he just about leaped out of bed, & when he came downstairs & saw the presents under the tree, he said "Oh my goodness, Santa came!" Jason was handling the video camera & kept telling him to say thank you to Santa & Parker would walk right up to the camera & say "thank you, Santa," into it like Santa could somehow hear him.
We rushed off to Grandpa & Grandma Vega's & opened some fun presents with them, then had to rush to Grandma & Grandpa Freckleton's for even more presents (spoiled much!) Parker just eats up all of the attention he gets while opening presents & even volunteers to open other people's presents for them too, he really is a giving child! :)
It was then off to Jaye & Johns for even more yummy food & family. We relaxed, ate, & watched some football while Parker opened even more presents from Great Grandma Bergeson. She got him a cute Thomas train set that he has played with every day since Christmas!!! After that a quick stop at Great Grandma Freckletons for some more spoiling & even more food (I think I gained 5lbs. at least that day!) Then home just as the storm moved in. Parker had no troubles falling asleep & Jas & I settled down in front of a movie & started putting together the plethera of toys we brought home since garbage day was the next day.
All in all this Christmas was a good one! We enjoy the wrapping, gifts & food but I think even without all of that we would have enjoyed being together just as much!

Cute Collage!!
Parker looks so cute, and you don't know how lucky you are that he will sit there and watch movies with you. Even X-mas movies. I would pay to have Jaimen sit still and watch a movie with me, so I can relax!
Cute pictures and I loved the writing. Glad you had a good Christmas. I am jealous you only have 52 days left. Lincoln, that is so cute! Glad you are doing good. Is Parker ready for number two?
That sounded kinda weird, I mean is he ready for a baby to enter into his life? You know what I mean :)
