Halloween was a busy but fun day. Parker was originally going to be a little "biker dude" with the Harley jacket, chaps, skull cap & all but the outfit was on back order so we decided to use our backup which was last years monkey costume (which was adorable!). We started off the morning kind of late & at the last minute my sister Meagan called & offered my nephews old dinosaur costume. When he put it on he was so excited he screamed & ran around the house, I wished I'd had my video camera ready for it. Then we showed him himself in the mirror & he couldn't stop looking at himself & petting the dinosaur head on top of his head. It was so stinking cute.
We headed out to my parents house (Grandma & Grandpa Shupe) where of course they thought he was hilarious and adorable as always! On the way back we stopped at my work where they do an annual kids party with a fish pond, cake walk, crafts, etc. Parker loved it, especially the attention from all of my co-workers (he's a bit of a "lady's man!")
After his nap (and ours) we headed out to see Grandma Bergeson (Gwate Gwama as Parker likes to call her) and Uncle Tom. They of course got a good laugh at his costume & dinosaur voice as well. Then off to Grandpa & Grandma Vega's for a trick and a treat from Aunt Aleisha as well.
We got home at dusk and already our neighborhood was filled with little trick or treaters. They don't do a Trunk or Treat so all of the kids go around door to door, it's actually kind of more fun with everybody walking around and saying hi. Jason hurried inside to pass out candy as I took our dinosaur out house to house. He was so cute saying, "twick or tweat" and, "Tank choo" to everyone. It was funny because at each house he tried to go inside like we were there to visit them or something. He was so excited about the pumpkins and lights at every house too, almost more than getting candy.
We hurried home for our new family tradition of chili and breadsticks and awaited a visit from Grandma & Grandpa Freckleton along with Jason's sis Jordyn & her husband Bart. They brought cute balloons and treats that Parker thought was so fun. It was so funny because he had to bend his head way back in order to see anyone with the big dinosaur head sitting on top of his.
At last the night had come to an end & we almost couldn't get the costume off of him but finally we did and got him into bed. We sat down with his bucket of candy and went, "hmmm, what do we eat first!" :) We'd planned on a movie for us but we were so pooped from all the fun that we both fell asleep on the couch.
Another fun Halloween over...I can't wait for Thanksgiving!!!

Too cute. I love the costumes!
He is so cute.
Can't wait to see you Saturday....I still never got a hold of Sarah, but I sent an invite to her parents???
Such a cute costume, thats funny that he kept petting himself.
I forgot to mention on my Halloween Post that Jaimen ran in the houses too, visiting. I had to chase him around one house and he threw a tiny fit because we weren't staying... they are so funny, thats hilarious that Parker did that too!
See you Saturday!!
How cute, I agree that trick or treating is much more fun than trunk or treat, we always do both, and the kids get a ton of candy, which we eat too. Kelly and I are always sneaking the good stuff.
Katie, It was SO fun to see you last night and I am so excited for you to have another baby. You little Park is the cutest little guy around. I will add you to the list and we are going to keep in touch for sure. Can't wait to get together again. Let us know if there is anything that we can do for you or your mom-we are always willing to help out!
