Since we moved in a little over a year ago I've been wanting the back portion of our yard fixed up. It was a huge garden at one point but was turned into a pile of weeds, bushes & brick burial ground. I kept telling Jas how he just needed to get in there and get it done, thinking it wasn't that big of a job. Well, two days, 10 men, a dump truck, a tractor, and a motorized wheel barrow later we had a beautiful new backyard.
We turned the side of the house into more of a zero scape area w/wood chips, trees, and possibly some plants next year.

The old garden was turned into a smaller garden and a new large sandbox w/the swingset pushed back onto it. Parker loves it so much I had a hard time getting him to come in for the night even though it was getting cold & dark!

The side of the house is pure clay & all summer long it was just muddy & gross. You can even see in the before pics where just the truck driving over it made huge pits. So it became a rock & gravel area.
All in all it turned out great! I'm so happy with it and so thankful for all the help we had and for a husband who hates doing this sort of thing but did it for me anyway!
